Siliguri, 27th July: In light of the growing number of coronavirus cases, a complete lockdown has been announced in Dabgram-Fulbari constituencies, till July 30.
Meanwhile, strict monitoring is being kept by the NJP police in various parts of the area since this morning. Scarce to no vehicles were sighted on the road. The police even raised awareness among the traders and closed some shops.
Several people were also detained on the charge of breaching lockdown protocols. Similar operations are likely to continue in the entire lockdown period.
