Siliguri, 14th August: Iron barricades have been set up in Siliguri’s containment zones to prohibit free movement amid the pandemic.
On behalf of the administration, several areas of Siliguri Municipal Corporation have been declared as containment zones on August 11 and barricades have been put up by the administration.
However, several people were spotted breaching the protocols and roaming around in the locality. Acting promptly, the police took to the streets and exerted strict actions against them.
