Kharibari, 28th May: High-velocity storm in and around Siliguri came as havoc for two families in Kharibari Gorsajot and the Binnabari area as it took away the life of Akhil Roy and Shuku Murmur.
Following the tragic incident, the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb, on Thursday, met their families and offered condolences to them.
The Minister, along with Kharibari BDO Yogesh Chandra Mandal, Opposition leader of Siliguri Sub-Divisional Council Kajal Ghosh, and local representatives, assured all possible help to the family members.
