Fulbari, 17th March: Storm wreaked havoc across Fulbari and Rajganj, leaving several homes damaged. In Fulbari II Gram Panchayat and multiple areas of Rajganj, houses were badly affected.
Nearly 25 homes in the Joydeb Vita area near Jatiakali were damaged last night, with some completely destroyed. In several places, falling trees caused additional damage to houses. The storm also disrupted electricity supply, with many areas still without power due to damaged poles.
Residents said the storm struck suddenly at night, leaving them no time to prepare. Roofs collapsed in some homes, and several people narrowly escaped injury. Affected families have appealed for immediate assistance to repair their homes and restore electricity.
