Siliguri, 22nd August: A stolen bike was returned to its rightful owner on Thursday, a month after an incident of theft, following the direction of the Siliguri court.
The bike was reportedly stolen from in front of Biswadeep Cinema Hall in Siliguri on July 18. The owner promptly lodged a complaint at Pradhan Nagar police station. Acting on the complaint, the police launched an investigation and arrested a suspect on August 7.
During interrogation, the accused revealed the location of the stolen bike, leading to its recovery. Following court proceedings, the Siliguri court directed that the recovered bike be returned to the owner, which was carried out on Thursday.
