Siliguri, 05th March: The State Youth Welfare Minister Aroop Biswas condemned the role of Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya and alleged that the Mayor has failed to provide proper service to the residents of Siliguri and has only made false promises.
During a party program at Siliguri’s Kanchenjunga Stadium, Minister Aroop Biswas stated that the Mayor has betrayed the people for the past five years and did not carry out any developmental activity. He further stated that the Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee has done various developmental works in Siliguri, for the past few years. Therefore, he expects TMC to win the elections.
In response to Aroop Biswas’s comment, Ashok Bhattacharya stated that TMC has interrupted in a lot of their work in the past five years. Despite all the obstacles, they have managed to work for the people.
