Siliguri, 09th April: After holding a meeting with the Merchant Association on Wednesday, the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb stated that following the government guidelines, the wholesale food distribution will remain operational across the entire North Bengal amid the ongoing lockdown period. The price of goods in the market will also be limited to a certain price.
On Thursday, the Minister inspected the Naya Bazar area and asked the traders and buyers to maintain social distance while selling and buying commodities. He further maintained that all the rules of the Merchant Association should be followed properly.
