Siliguri, 18th September: Ashok Bhattacharya, Chairman of the BoA at SMC, while addressing the media stated that the state government is intentionally trying to make Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) a hero by interrupting their political activities.
It is to be noted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a Maha rally in Siliguri today against the increasing rate of violence against women in the state. However, the rally was obstructed midway by the police shortly after it commenced.
Ashok Bhattacharya further stated that the general public faced extreme difficulties due to road blockades across the city today.
