Kharibari, 10th February: A Bhoomi Puja was conducted, today, for the 19th Battalion of the SSB, under which, a new building and a new office for the Battalion will be constructed.
During the event, the SSB General Inspector Frontier Headquarters Siliguri Kumar Bandopadhyay, Deputy Inspector General Regional Headquarters Ranidanga Amit Kumar, District Officer Kishanganj Himanshu Sharma, District Superintendent Kishanganj Kumar Ashish, 19th Battalion Commandant Mitul Kumar, Engineer Frontier Headquarters Siliguri PS Negi, Junior Engineer Shankar Banik, Medical Officer CK Das and many other officers of the Battalion were present. A tree plantation programme was also conducted during the event.
