Naxalbari, 10th May: SSB team foiled attempted trafficking by rescuing seven cattle from Lalji Jote under Maniram Gram Panchayat at the Indo-Nepal border of Naxalbari. Notably, in the last few days, police rescued a total of 145 buffaloes from Bagdogra and Bidhannagar.
Reportedly, the traffickers fled towards Nepal upon noticing the SSB jawans. Later, the rescued cattle were handed over to Naxalbari police.
