SSB jawans arrested two Chinese nationals from Indo-Nepal Border

Siliguri, 16th April: The jawans of the Company Headquarters of the 8th battalion of SSB have arrested two Chinese nationals for traveling illegally from India to Nepal. The arrested accused have been identified as Chen Jifa and Ding Shou sheng. At the same time, an Indian named Mohammad Ibrahim has also been arrested.


According to information received from SSB, the jawans of Baramaniramjote sighted two persons wandering suspiciously on the Indo-Nepal border. After this, the jawans stopped the duo and questioned them. After interrogation, it was learned that the two men were Chinese nationals. They were even unable to show the necessary documents. Following this, the duo was arrested.

Nepalese currency worth 2400, one thousand rupees, 90 US dollars, one bike, three mobiles, a Chinese book, and a diary were seized from the arrested individuals. All the arrested accused were handed over to the Naxalbari police station by SSB for further action.
