Siliguri, 14th November: To tackle the rising incidents of chain snatching in Siliguri, Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar has formed a special team to clamp down on criminals.
According to the commissioner, most offenders targeting pedestrians and shopkeepers while riding bikes are from outside the city, and police are working swiftly to apprehend these miscreants.
The special team will patrol crowded areas on bikes during morning and evening hours to immediately prevent chain snatching incidents. This initiative aims to strengthen law and order in the city and ensure safety for residents and businesses.
Authorities assured that no effort will be spared in maintaining security and curbing crime.
