Special programme organised by Bhakti Nagar Traffic Guard on International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Siliguri, 03rd December: On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a special programme was organised by the Bhakti Nagar Traffic Guard in association with the children of Prerna School. Siliguri Traffic Police DCP Quazi Samsuddin Ahamed attended the event as the chief guest.


During the programme, the DCP distributed essential items as gifts to the children. He also shared important messages on the significance of the day, awareness about the rights of persons with disabilities, and the need for sensitivity and inclusion in society.

Apart from the DCP (Traffic), the OC of Bhakti Nagar Traffic Guard, along with the OCs of Saalugara Sub-Traffic Guard and Ashighar Sub-Traffic Guard, were also present at the event.


The programme aimed to boost the confidence of specially-abled children, encourage them, and spread awareness about equal rights in society.
