News Desk: On Thursday, the Chief Minister (CM) of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee announced that the textile company of Spain, Tempe Grupo Inditex (Zara), is expanding its manufacturing operations to Bengal in partnership with private entities and is expected to commence production in West Bengal before Christmas, this year.
According to reports, the state government is in talks to provide Tempe Group and its partners with 100 acres of concessional land in a suitable location along with other support for the development.
