Alipurduar, 25th December: Sensation prevailed in the area of Alipurduar’s Parapar area of 3rd Mile after a son brutally killed his father.
The deceased has been identified as Krishna Ravi Das (72). According to locals, Krishna Ravi Das used to work as a daily wage labourer. The son was mentally unwell and stayed at home. Reportedly, this morning the son fought with his father. Allegedly, during the fight, the son attacked the elderly father with a sharp weapon that caused his death on spot. The police have arrested the son Gena Ravi Das.
On the other hand, soon after getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Alipurduar District Hospital for postmortem. The police are probing into the entire incident.
