Siliguri, 22nd September: The Special Operations Group (SOG) and Matigara Police arrested two people with brown sugar, on Tuesday night. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Khebul (31), resident of Uttar Dinajpur, and Bapi Sinha (20), resident of Matigara.
It has been learned that the SOG, with the assistance of Matigara Police, nabbed the two during a raid in the Biswas Colony area. 260 grams of brown sugar and 22 bottles of cough syrup were recovered from their possession.
According to SOG sources, a case has been filed against the duo under the NDPS Act and they have been produced in Siliguri court today.
