Siliguri, 05th January: Young athlete Bittu Das from Dakshin Shanti Nagar in Siliguri has made a mark at the national level by winning multiple medals in athletics. However, financial constraints had emerged as a major hurdle in his sporting career. On learning about his situation, social worker Shubho Das stepped forward to support the promising athlete.
Bittu Das is set to participate in a national-level athletics competition later this month, for which he required high-quality sports shoes. His family, however, was unable to afford the cost. After being informed of the issue, Shubho Das provided full financial assistance for the purchase of the required shoes and assured continued support for the athlete in the future.
Bittu Das has had a deep passion for sports since childhood. Alongside his studies, he continues regular training with dedication and dreams of bringing glory to the country through his achievements in athletics.
