Fulbari, 20th October: In a commendable effort towards serving society, social worker Madan Bhattacharya from Siliguri has been a supporter of a helpless elderly woman for the past 18 years, honoring his commitment to providing for her needs.
Every three months, Bhattacharya personally delivers essential food items and necessities to Minati Barman, an impoverished resident of Paschim Dhantala in Fulbari. Recently, he provided her with rice, lentils, other food supplies, along with personal care products.
In this regard, Madan Bhattacharya stated that he has taken the responsibility to look after Minati. He stated that he bore all her expenses every three months. On Sunday, I brought her some food supplies and financial assistance. He further emphasized that he would continue to provide for Minati throughout her life.
