Rajganj, 22nd August: In the midst of scorching heat and blazing sun, while most seek refuge in shade and take measures to avoid the heat, traffic police personnel continue their duties under extreme conditions. On Thursday, social worker Debashish Sardar stepped forward to provide relief to those who tirelessly manage the flow of traffic on the roads.
Sardar distributed glucose and water bottles to traffic police officers stationed at Nawapara Canal More, near Sahudangi on the Fulbari-Gajoldoba State Road. He also extended the distribution to drivers passing through the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar expressed concern for the traffic police and civic volunteers performing their duties despite the oppressive weather. He mentioned that the initiative aims to provide some relief to the officers enduring the harsh heat. Sardar also announced plans to continue this program at other traffic points in the coming days.
