Siliguri, 27th November: Sunil Sarkar, a resident of Sushruta Nagar near Kawakhali, has been bedridden for the last three months after suffering severe leg injuries in a road accident.

One of his legs has been treated after the locals financially helped him undergo surgery. However, due to the family’s poor financial situation, they are currently unable to afford the treatment for his other injured leg.

In this context, Sunil Sarkar said that he was an e-rickshaw (toto), driver by profession which was his only source of living. However, after suffering severe leg injuries in an accident, he is currently bedridden and is living in severe crisis. 

After learning regarding his helpless situation, social activist Sanjay Dutta and Kabita Roy extended their helping hands and urged all to provide him financial assistance.
