Siliguri, 17th October: In a heartwarming gesture, social worker Bapan Ghosh, a resident of Arabinda Pally, distributed new clothes among the impoverished children ahead of Durga Puja.
Bapan Ghosh has been selflessly working in the forefront helping needy people of the society for the last several years. From rations, new clothes, reading material and medical expenses, over hundreds of families have been assisted by the social activist in every way.
Like every year, Ghosh distributed new clothes to needy families before the puja this year too. In view of the pandemic, instead of distributing the clothes from his home, Bapan Ghosh himself reached various orphanages and children’s homes in the city.
He further informed that he will be distributing new clothes and new saris to children and elderlies by next Tuesday.
