Siliguri, 14th June: The investigation into the murder of Devidanga resident Amrit Gosai has taken a significant turn as police employ the assistance of sniffer dogs to uncover hidden details. Gosai was tragically killed in a shootout related to a triangular love affair just a few days ago. During the ongoing investigation, the police successfully apprehended the primary suspect, Arun Mahali. The incident occurred in the Quarter Line area of Devidanga, Siliguri.
Earlier this afternoon, the cops from Pradhan Nagar police station with a sniffer dog, conducted a thorough inspection of the crime scene. As a result, new information has come to light. It has been revealed that the location where Amrit’s body was discovered was not the site of the shooting. Instead, he was shot elsewhere and his lifeless body was later discarded in a field near the quarter line. In addition to these findings, the police are currently analyzing CCTV footage to unravel the truth behind the murder. Furthermore, the firearm used to kill Amrit has been recovered by the police and has been sent for forensic examination. It is expected that the authorities will soon shed light on the circumstances surrounding this murder and potentially reveal the involvement of other individuals.
According to the report, both Amrit and Arun were friends initially. However, their friendship turned sour when they both developed romantic feelings for the same girl. This led to arguments and quarrels between the two, which escalated over time. Tragically, it resulted in Amrit Gosai losing his life, while Arun now finds himself behind bars.
