Siliguri, 25th August: Training Workshop on Rescue and Handling of Snakes was organized at Bengal Safari Park, on Wednesday.
It has been learned that the training camp was organized with the assistance of the Bengal Safari Park Authority, Sukna Squad and a voluntary organization of Jalpaiguri. Several workers of Bengal Safari Park were trained in this camp.
In this regard, DFO of Bengal Safari Park Badal Debnath said, “Snakes enter different areas during the monsoons. As a result, people live in fear. So, a one-day snake handling training camp was organized by the Bengal Safari Park Authority.” Ranger Sanjay Rasaily and Sukna Squad officials were present at the camp.
