Siliguri, 03rd January: Preparation for the upcoming municipal election is in a full swing in Siliguri. While all partys’ candidates are engrossed in pulling in as many voters as possible, the residents of Ward No. 12 are amused by a peculiar sight.
The election offices of both Trinamool and BJP have been set up side by side on the same land in Ward No. 12. Competing to look better than the other, the party workers of each of the parties are engaged in beautifying their respective offices.
In this context, BJP candidate Nantu Paul said, “I got permission to hold an election office here after talking to the landowner.”
