Siliguri, 17th July: Plastic carry bags are being used carelessly in Siliguri. To curb this menace, the Siliguri Municipal Corporation Board of Administrators held a meeting with the market committees and decided to stop the use of plastic carry bags.
SMC Administrator Goutam Deb said that the use of plastic carry bags should be stopped in all the markets. “Strict steps will be taken against anyone caught violating the rules,” Deb added.
