Siliguri, 23rd January: The 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated by the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, on Saturday.
Ashok Bhattacharya, Chairman of Board of Administrator in Siliguri Municipal Corporation, wreathed the statue of the freedom fighter at Subhas Pally and paid tribute to Netaji. Opposition coordinator Ranjan Sarkar and other coordinator were present during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary was also celebrated at Siliguri Girls ‘ High School. State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb hoisted the flag and garlanded the photo of Subhash Chandra Bose during the event.
