Siliguri, 12th August: Administrator of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Goutam Deb handed over 100 PPE kits to the officials of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. He also visited Siliguri District Hospital and handed over PPE kits to health workers and doctors. These were handed over to the hospital superintendent.
Deb said that 50 PPE kits have been provided to Siliguri district hospital and 100 to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Besides, 50 PPE kits will be given to the health workers of SMC. He also said that vaccination is being carried out in full swing.
On the other hand, Dr Sandeep Sengupta, Dean of North Bengal Medical College, said that Goutam Deb has been providing various necessary materials since the first wave of the pandemic. “Today he has given PPE kits. These are of good quality, which will be useful to us,” he added.
