Siliguri, 27th May: SMC administrator Goutam Deb met renowned goalkeeper Neeraj Sahani, a resident of D block of Siliguri’s Suryasen Colony, on Thursday. He is currently a civic volunteer by profession. Unfortunately, Sahani met with a road accident on his way back from work, several days ago and is ailing since then. Yesterday, his mother passed away due to physical illness.
Neeraj Sahani said that his family is struggling to make ends meet due to his illness. He is also deprived of treatment in different nursing homes despite having a Swasthya Sathi card. Besides expressing sympathy to him, Goutam Deb assured to make arrangements for his treatment at a reputed nursing home in Siliguri.
