Siliguri, 31st May: SMC administrator Goutam Deb inaugurated the 20 oxygen cylinder bedded field hospital at Tinbatti More today in the presence of Siliguri Police Commissioner Gourab Sharma, Dean of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital Sandip Sengupta, Dr Kalyan Khan, Dr PD Bhutia, and other prominent figures.
It is to be noted that the said hospital has been set up under the joint venture of Liver Foundation West Bengal, Indian Chamber of Commerce, Siliguri Welfare Organization, and Forum for Humanity Welfare Organization. Such an initiative has been taken to provide proper treatment to helpless COVID patients. Arrangements for doctors, nurses, medicines, and meals have been made at the new hospital.
In this regard, Goutam Deb said that both men and women will get medical facilities at the hospital. Doctors, nurses, and nutritious food have been also been arranged.
