Jalpaiguri, 10th January: The Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) inaugurated a developmental work worth 4 crore rupees, on Saturday.
A total of 9 developmental works including park, roads and laboratories were inaugurated through a programme at the Deshbandhu Nagar High School grounds.
The developmental works include newly constructed roads and footpaths to North Bengal University campus, road renovation in wards 18 and 24, Children’s Park in Deshbandhu Nagar High School, laboratory in Chemistry department of Fanindradev High School and a road in ward no-24 and 4. On the other hand, renocvation work was carried out in the cowshed area.
Tea director Vice Chairman Krishna Kumar Kalyani, Jalpaiguri Municipality Chairperson Papia Pal, SJDA Chairman Vijay Chandra Barman and many others were present at the inaugural function.
