Rajganj, 10th January: Siliguri-Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) chairman Sourav Chakraborty laid the foundation stone for road construction work in the Balaigach area under Majhiyali Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block.
Reportedly, the said road will be constructed with the help of the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) at a cost of about Rs 81 lakh. In this regard, SJDA Chairman Sourav Chakraborty said that the residents of the area have been demanding the construction of the road for a long time and the foundation stone of the road was laid today. The road will be ready in about three months.
During this, Vice President of Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad Dulal Debnath, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Rajganj Trinamool Congress Block President Arindam Banerjee, and many others were present.
