Naxalbari, 22nd August: An incident of mishap surfaced where six individuals sustain severe injuries in a head-on collision between a passenger car and a pickup van at School Dangi More in Naxalbari.
As per reports, on Tuesday, the pickup van abruptly lost control and rammed into the four-wheeler. As a result, the car overturned on the side of the road. However, the pickup van swiftly escaped the scene. Among the injured were three school students, two ASHA employees, and the driver of the vehicle.
Following the incident, the injured were immediately rescued and transported to the Naxalbari Hospital. Meanwhile, the driver sustaining serious injuries was sent to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). At present, the authorities of the Naxalbari police station are on a hunt to apprehend the pickup van and its driver.
