Siliguri, 27th December: The SIR hearing process has commenced in Siliguri from Saturday, alongside the rest of the state. A large number of voters have been arriving at the Siliguri SDO (Sub-Divisional Officer) office since morning.
The hearings are being conducted in a fully disciplined manner under the supervision of Election Commission officials at the SDO office. The office premises have been bustling with activity since early morning as voters from various areas appear at the scheduled time to submit the required documents.
According to the administration, the process is being carried out with complete transparency, ensuring that all parties are heard carefully before completing the hearings.
Strict security arrangements have been put in place to maintain peace and order, and volunteers are actively assisting the administration to prevent any kind of disorder.
