Siliguri’s Ward No. 28 heated over Trinamool-BJP clash

Siliguri, 02nd May: The counting of 2021 assembly votes is underway. Meanwhile, the Trinamool-BJP clash has heated up Ward No. 28 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation. Several people were injured in the incident.


According to sources, Trinamool and BJP activists got into a conflict over the hoisting of party flags in the Mazdoor Colony area of ​​Ward No. 28. BJP alleged that several of its activists and supporters were beaten by the Trinamool activists. On the other hand, Trinamool also leveled the same allegation against BJP.

Meanwhile, the Siliguri police reached the spot after receiving the news of the incident and arrested many. Police patrolling is being carried out in the area to normalize the situation.
