Siliguri, 14th March: A teacher has been accused of attempting to molest a second-grade student in Siliguri. The accused teacher has been identified as Subrata Majumdar.
It has been alleged that Subrata, a teacher of a private primary school adjacent to Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya of Siliguri’s Surya Sen Colony, attempted to molest a second-grade student of the same school.
In this context, the victim’s family members filed a written complaint to the school management. Later, a written complaint was also lodged at the NJP Police station demanding strict punishment for the accused.
Based on the complaint, the police are currently investigating the incident.
