Siliguri, 26th October: This year, Sandhani Club of Siliguri’s Subhashpally will draw attention by presenting its Kali Puja mandap in the style of a Nepalese Buddhist monastery, marking the 49th year of its puja celebration.
The mandap is being crafted from environmentally friendly materials, and visitors can also expect unique lighting arrangements as part of the display. In addition to the decorative theme, the club has planned various service activities and cultural programs for the duration of the puja.
According to club secretary Shyamal Sarkar, “This year marks our 49th year, and our theme is a Buddhist monastery-style mandap inspired by Nepal. Like every year, we anticipate a large turnout at our puja.”
