Siliguri, 22nd April: The country celebrated Eid as people started gathering in mosques for Eid prayers since the morning. The sighting of the Eid moon on the evening of 21st April marked the end of the month of Ramadan.
The festival of Eid was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Siliguri, like the rest of the country. The Muslim community offered prayers at the Kanchenjunga Stadium, where they gave a message of unity and communal harmony.
