Naxalbari, 30th June: Under the initiative of Marwari Yuva Manch of Siliguri Branch and the cooperation of Subrati Sangha of Naxalbari, a blood donation camp was organised on Friday at Marwari Bhawan, Naxalbari.
According to reports, the noble event witnessed the presence of Sabhadhipati of Siliguri Mahakma Parishad Arun Ghosh, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Naxalbari Police Station Pradip Trikhatri, Member of Marwari Yuva Manch Narayan Agrawal along with other delegates.
Speaking at the occasion, the Sabhadhipati of Siliguri Mahakma Parishad emphasized that at present, anaemia has occurred across the entire state of Bengal. To reduce it, on behalf of the Yuva Manch, blood donation camps have been organized in 10 locations of the subdivision. Meanwhile, the member of the organization, Narayan Agrawal stated that the camp was held to reduce the shortage of blood in various hospitals in the area.
