Siliguri, 12th May: Siliguri’s Jatiya Shakti Sangha and Pathagar kick-started their preparations for Durga Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ on the day of Buddha Purnima.
This year marks the 43rd edition of the Puja, and the theme for the pavilion will be inspired by the historic Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. Known for their innovative pavilions, the Jatiya Shakti Sangha and Pathagar are expected to surprise visitors once again with their unique setup this year.
The event saw the presence of Club President Abhijit Kumar Roy, Secretary Sushant Sarkar, Club Secretary Abhijit Karmakar, and Ward Councilor Dilip Barman, among others. Organizers confirmed that the main puja ceremony will be inaugurated on the third day of the festivities.
