Siliguri, 18th February: After sighting an unconscious woman lying on the street, two civic volunteers rushed to her rescue.
Simply ignored by many passersby, the young woman was lying helplessly on the street near the Safdar Hasmi Chowk (Venus More). Noticing her, Sagar Chakraborty and Subir Sarkar, the two civic volunteers rushed to her aid and admitted her to the Siliguri District Hospital. According to sources, the woman is a student of the Suryasen college. Later, her family members were informed and they reached the hospital.
