Siliguri, 03rd November: With Chhath puja just around the corner, beautification work has commenced at the city’s Lalmohan Moulik Niranjan Ghat. Keeping in mind the current COVID-19 situation, barricades have been put up at various spots in the ghat.
In this context, the Bihari Kalyan Mancha has put forward the demand to construct a few small gates next to the barricades so that the devotees can offer the puja without any hindrance.
They also handed over a memorandum to Ashok Bhattacharya, on Tuesday. The organization stated that they have been assured that their demands would be taken into consideration.
