Siliguri, 17th August: Various programs will be organised on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami in the aegis of Siliguri Yadav Samiti. The programs will be held for two days on the 19th and 20th August.
The committee members held a press conference today at the Siliguri Journalists Club. Uttam Ghosh, a member of the committee stated that like every year they will celebrate Krishna Janmashtami with great pomp and fanfare.
Different cultural programs will be organised for the two days including sit and draw competition. They have also decided to distribute 200 saplings and will also felicitate the distinguished guest and people of the society. The committee will also distribute prasads to the devotees during the programs.
