Siliguri, 10th May: With the prompt action of the Woman Police Station under the Siliguri Metropolitan Police, a family was reunited with their missing 20-year-old daughter within a few hours. The young woman, who had been wandering from door to door in search of a job, was safely recovered by the police and returned to her family.
According to the information, the girl, a resident of Dhupguri, was found wandering in the Noukaghat area of Siliguri on Monday afternoon. However, before she could fall into the wrong hands, the vigilant police officers noticed her and took immediate action. They ensured her safety and protection while gathering relevant information. Subsequently, the girl was reunited with her family, who expressed their gratitude towards the police for their assistance.
During the police interrogation, the young woman explained that she had come to Siliguri from Dhupguri in search of employment. Unfortunately, she resorted to going door to door in an unfamiliar city, hoping to find work. The girl’s family members revealed that she had left home on Monday morning, claiming she was heading to college. However, as hours passed and she failed to return, they grew increasingly worried. Despite their efforts to locate her, they were unable to find any trace of her. Thankfully, the intervention of the police prevented her from falling into a precarious situation.
