Siliguri Ulka Club unveils unique theme of ‘Ek Tukro Rajasthan’ for 47th annual Kali Puja

Siliguri, 29th October: Residents of Siliguri are gearing up for the festivities, two days ahead of Kali Puja. This year, the Ulka Club is set to mesmerize its visitors by constructing a puja pandal modeled after the grand palaces of Rajasthan. This marks the 47th year of their celebrations, and preparations are in full swing.


Reportedly, the Ulka Club captures the city’s attention by presenting innovative themes for their puja pandal every year. This year’s theme, ‘Ek Tukro Rajasthan’ (A Piece of Rajasthan), will feature a vibrant and colorful experience of the festival. Additionally, the streets will be decorated with illustrative lighting like that of Chandan Nagar.

The puja will also feature unique idol designs and several social service initiatives. Several special cultural programs involving artists from Medinipur will be organized throughout the celebrations. The organizers are optimistic that this year’s festivities will once again captivate the people of Siliguri like every year.
