Siliguri Town TMCP provided food to the needy through ‘Maa Kitchen’

Siliguri, 27th June: Siliguri Town All India Trinamool Chhatra Parishad provided food to the needy people through ‘Maa Kitchen’. Today’s program was organized at Baghajatin Park in Siliguri. Siliguri Administrator Goutam Deb was also present during the occasion. Along with the food items, daily necessities and dry food were also handed over to the municipal sanitation workers. As per Siliguri Town TMCP, cooked food is being distributed to about 400 people every day. 


Administrator Goutam Deb said that people are living in crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the economy has suffered heavy losses. He lauded the initiative taken by the students and youths amid these trying times. 

Apart from Deb, BoA member Ranjan Sarkar, North Bengal Medical College and Hospital Dean Dr Sandip Sengupta, social worker Samiran Saha, Anoop Sarkar and others were present during the programme.
