Siliguri, 31st May: Taking several precautionary measures, various salons in Siliguri have resumed operations. All the visitors are being thermally screened before being allowed to enter the salon. Social distance is being maintained and people were spotted applying hand sanitizers before entering inside.
The salon workers, on Sunday, were seen wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits and hand gloves while giving haircuts to the customers.
Arjun Das, a salon worker in Siliguri Rabindra Nagar, stated that all precautions are being taken to ensure that workers and customers do not contract COVID-19. He further maintained that apart from sanitizers, PPE kits and gloves are also being used by the workers.
