Siliguri, 17th March: The Siliguri police raided an illegal call centre in Siliguri’s Sevoke Road. On Wednesday, the police personnel broke into the office which had been shut down.
ACP Suvendra Kumar, IC of Siliguri police station, and OC of Panitanki outpost were present at the scene. Several computer monitors, mobile phones, and documents were recovered from the office. However, no CPU and harddisks were found.
The investigators assumed that the ones running the call centre fled away with all documents, a few days ago. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
