Siliguri, 22nd October: The Siliguri police have initiated night-time bike patrols throughout the city to combat theft and other criminal activities. Significantly, police officers are on the streets on bikes from 11 PM to enhance security measures.
According to the information, the patrols cover key locations in the city, including the Siliguri District Hospital and various alleys, ensuring police presence. Officers are actively monitoring for suspicious individuals and will conduct inquiries if necessary.
The Siliguri Police have stated that these patrols will be conducted regularly as part of their efforts to maintain public safety and deter crime in the area.
