Siliguri police help with the treatment of an ailing two-and-a-half-year-old child

Siliguri, 13th May: The police personnel of the CCTV control room of Siliguri police station extended a helping hand in the treatment of an ailing two-and-a-half-year-old child.


It has been learned that Abir Chakraborty, the two-and-a-half-year-old son of Neel Chakraborty from Sukanta Nagar, Ward No. 38, Siliguri, fell from the roof of his house a month and a half ago. Since then, he is unconscious and is undergoing treatment. Till now, more than Rs 7 lakh have been spent on his treatment, however, no improvement has been seen in his health.

Hence, the helpless father desperately appealed for help on social media for his son’s treatment. Upon learning about the matter, SI of the CCTV control room of Siliguri police station Satyen Roy and other police personnel came forward to help Neel Chakraborty. They collected a part of their salary and handed it over to him.


Abir’s uncle Gopal Chakraborty said that they are grateful for the cooperation provided by the police personnel. He further mentioned that if anyone wants to help them, they can contact at the number 9832380584.
