Siliguri, 29th September: The Siliguri police have successfully recovered a lost gold ring and returned it to its owner. The ring had gone missing approximately two and a half months ago from an elderly man on SF Road in Siliguri. Following the incident, the owner had filed a complaint at the Siliguri police station.
On Saturday night, the police managed to locate the gold ring in the Gwala Patti area of Ward No. 04 in Siliguri, where it was found in the possession of a young man. On Sunday morning, Officer-in-Charge Prasenjit Biswas handed the ring back to the elderly owner. The owner expressed his gratitude to the police officers on being reunited with his ring.
